ONE STEP, the revival

One Step recently invited us to discover its new Spring Summer 2013 collection and two limited edition lines inspired by TOKYO: “Geisha” and “Tokyo Style”.

Founded in 1995, One Step remains little known in the capital, thanks to word-of-mouth communication and a desire to remain an intimate brand. Let’s delve into the heart of this brand.

The One Step philosophy.
One Step is an ode to the eternal feminine. Because dreams of being a princess or a dancer, of wearing twirling skirts and sparkling eyes, are ageless. In a skilful blend of femininity and audacity, the brand knows how to twist volume effects and sublimate materials. The collections, imbued with a strong personality, reflect an irrepressible desire to enjoy life without taking oneself too seriously… A playful nod to the carefree spirit of childhood, the brand’s “ballerina” leads the way.

Once upon a time, there was One Step…
Femininity / Audacity / Emotion / Creativity / Duality
Harmonious marriage of two minds: casual chic and city romance, with twists linked to current trends.

One Step style.
One Step gives free rein to the imagination. Timeless, the brand offers a wardrobe full of elegance and originality, a unique style to mix and match to your heart’s content. The silhouettes reflect an addiction to original blends, a sense of detail and the treatment of materials. Between assertive/romantic, dressy/casual and masculine/feminine, skilfully orchestrated ambivalence defines the brand’s tempo for a bold, feminine and creative look.

One Step women.
One Step looks like the women who wear it. Active and fulfilled, they have an artist’s or bohemian’s expression in them; they are undoubtedly laid-back but self-assured, and are guided by their emotions. From “offbeat casual chic” to “romantic city”, the brand inspires women’s creativity.
