Toshiba Europe GmbH unveils its new Camileo X450 camcorder for all amateur videographers looking for a solution combining versatility, image quality and compact size. This new model is the latest addition to the Camileo X range of compact Full HD camcorders that fit in the palm of your hand. Small but sturdy, it has been redesigned to offer more creative possibilities and high image quality to all family video enthusiasts. For example, the candles on your little one’s birthday cake will shine through thanks to the powerful 23x optical zoom (30x advanced zoom), which allows you to film even the smallest details. Videos taken indoors also gain in quality, even in low-light conditions, thanks to the 8-megapixel BSI (backlit) sensor. What’s more, potential blurring effects are minimized by the integrated image stabilizer, so that every memory stays with you for life!
More creative, higher-quality videos

The face-tracking tool, for example, guarantees perfect framing of the people filmed, ensuring that you capture the most beautiful smile of the youngest member of the family. The on-board software not only lets you take snapshots while recording a video sequence, but also film sequences in accelerated video mode (time-lapse) in the style of professionals, for a guaranteed creative effect! The large 3-inch touchscreen (7.62 cm diagonal) is extremely pleasant and practical for viewing videos as soon as they’ve been recorded, and for instantly reliving the moment. As for the intuitive on-screen menus, they’ve been optimized to allow you to change camera settings in the blink of an eye, or edit on the fly thanks to the integrated Cut’n’Save tool. Finally, to view video on a large screen, copy it or edit it, the Camileo X450 connects easily to a computer or TV via its mini-USB or mini-HDMI® port. Cables and a protective cover are supplied in the box.
The new Camileo X450 will be available in Europe in the second quarter of 2013.
