EFPT tournament: poker for solidarity!

A few days ago, a press conference was held at the Aviation Club de France to present a charity poker tournament. One of the sponsors, Raymond Domenech, was present.
From May 30 to June 2, Paris will be hosting an event unique in the world: the European Football Poker Tour. Born of a desire to bring together the worlds of soccer and poker for the benefit of charities, the EFPT owes its existence to the dreams of one man: Philippe Gauthier.
Philippe Gauthier and Rodrigue Boumsong-Somkong have a wealth of professional experience in the field of sports in Africa, as well as extensive contacts in the soccer world, and have been able to count on the unfailing support of one of the world’s greatest soccer stars, Samuel Eto’o, and the 1991 Ballon d’Or winner and outstanding goalscorer Jean-Pierre Papin, both of whom are patrons of the event.

The EFPT’s objective is simple: to leverage the notoriety of its two prestigious sponsors and the soccer, entertainment and poker personalities present at the event to help six little-known charities raise funds. Seduced by this bold project with strong values, PMU.fr and Aviation Club de France, official sponsors of the EFPT, naturally supported the event by contributing their know-how.
This event, open to all, offers all soccer and poker fans the chance to take part in the two poker tournaments organized over the four days: the Main Event and the Tournoi des Légendes. A unique opportunity to play alongside soccer and poker celebrities at the prestigious Aviation Club de France! Online qualifiers will be available on PMU.fr and ACFPoker.fr from April 29, as well as live qualifiers at the Aviation Club de France every Monday, from May 6 to 27 inclusive, at 8pm. Those not lucky enough to qualify will be able to participate in both tournaments by paying their buy-in directly on site on the day of the event.
