To celebrate its 150th anniversary, Martini announces the return of an iconic product created by its founders: Martini Bitter.

Created by Martini’s master herbalist, Luigi Rossi, in Italy in 1872, Martini Bitter has won over a wide audience thanks to its rich aromas and unchanged 100% Natural recipe. The marriage of the world’s finest ingredients (Italian mugwort, Chinese rhubarb, Bulgarian roses, gentian and citrus) gives the aperitif a special flavor.
Its bright red color reflects its intensity, and its aromas blend perfectly with Martini Rosso (created 150 years ago) to bring to life the finest Italian Classic Cocktails such as Martini Américano or Martini Spritz.
Martini Américano: Milan’s Bartenders café was the first to strike the perfect balance between the mythical Martini Rosso and the powerful aromas of Bitter, thus creating the Américano.

Martini Spritz: The Spritz was born in Venice in the fashionable bars where the “spritzing” craze (adding spumante or soda to a cocktail) created new cocktails.

Martini Bitter will be available in supermarkets and hypermarkets from May 2013
Recommended retail price: €14.95 per 1-litre bottle
