A happy weekend for gourmet taste buds! Sharpened, attentive to the slightest hint of flavor, they’re on the alert. Chocolate aromas are in the spotlight, to the delight of young and old alike.
La Maison du Chocolat and chef Nicolas Cloiseau have come up with some amusing suggestions. The Sautons à saute-mouton collection features chocolate figurines in the shape of lambs, rams and ewes. These are arranged in pastoral scenes, offered in limited editions. Inspired by the black sheep of Ouessant, Nicolas Cloiseau’s region of origin, they look cheerful with daisies in their mouths.
At the same time, classic moldings, bunnies, Miss Bunny, a 2013 creation, eggs and more are still available. Boxes enhance the gourmet possibilities. Oval-shaped, they contain a few praline eggs, ganache eggs and others.
Dark chocolate is very cocoa-flavored, with notes of red fruit. Milk chocolate, delicately cocoa-flavored and lightly sweetened, offers milky flavors reminiscent of a child’s world.
