Rose… a universe built around a tender or glossy color that is giving birth to a fragrance trend at the start of 2013. The return of a classic flower, emblematic of perfumery, around a new story…
Perfume trends 2013: a glamorous rose declaration
Floral softness, a cocoon of powdery musks spiked with violets and cashmere woods. A natural rose in a romantic-vintage setting with rebellious accents. A kiss of red lipstick leaves its fruity trace on a delicate universe of veiled fragrances with peach-skin effects…
In a light atmosphere… a desire for freshness and freedom, a romantic pastel universe, innocence and glamour – talking about love stories between girls – a decor of pink powder, pearls and chantilly, English lace and porcelain:

1/ Eau de Cartier Goutte de Rose, Cartier
2/ Rose de Courrèges, Courrèges
3/ Pure DKNY A Drop of Rose, Donna Karan
4/ Especially Escada Delicate Notes, Escada
5/ Dior Addict Eau Sensuelle, Christian Dior
6/ L’Eau Rose, Balenciaga
7/ Rossetto n°14, Prada Exclusive Scents
8/ La Fille de Berlin Serge Lutens
Other early-year fragrances, such as Narciso L’eau for Her and Burberry Body Tender, fit perfectly into this powdery-pink universe, without taking on its olfactory signature…
Rose d’avant and emblematic
The rose is a classic, used and revisited since time immemorial in perfumery, for its freshness, naturalness and floral generosity. In 2012, there were fruity roses in young-girl versions (example: Couture, Jeanne Lanvin) and garden rose notes, with the idea of rosewater surrounded by green notes. The emblem around this idea was Eau de Chloé, Chloé Parfums.

Finally, it should be noted that the scent of rose also ranks among the market leaders:
1/ Stella, Stella Mc Cartney
2/ Paris, Yves Saint Laurent
3/ Trésor, Lancôme
4/ Parisienne, Yves Saint Laurent
5/ Chloé edp, Chloé Parfums
