As part of its ongoing commitment to innovation, En Selle Marcel has partnered with Cinelli to offer its customers the chance to perfect their approach to cycling.
The famous Italian brand is the subject of a retrospective in the form of a beautiful book. Written by Lodovico Pignatti Morano, Cinelli, the Art and design of the bicycle, perfectly captures the spirit of Cino Cinelli, the brand’s founder.
A racing cyclist, he excelled and decided in 1948 to set up a company to develop atypical bicycles. Drawing on his experience, he innovated, introducing the first aluminum handlebars, the first plastic-core saddle, the first fast pedals and more.
In 1978, he entrusted the brand to Antonio Colombo, a young industrialist with a keen interest in bicycles and a specialization in aluminum. From then on, Cinelli radicalized its proposals. The ‘little queen’, already efficient in its mechanics, became just as efficient in its design. Each bicycle is seen as a concept. Diversified accessories enhance the range.
