Apparently, it’s not just the devil who wears Prada. The modern gentleman also opts for a sharp, colorful wardrobe.
Of course, the all-black look is present on a few outfits, but it’s obviously the colors that make the show stand out.
Shades of red, blue and yellow (from lemon yellow to mustard) mingle in a show with strong references to the 70s (two-tone check suits worn over a color-block sweater/shirt ensemble). Color was also dared on leather jackets.
Patterns, while classic at Prada, work together, and we wear stripes and checks together.
The detail of the badly arranged collars, as if the outfit had been put on in a hurry, brings a smile to the face and evokes a hasty early-morning departure from the arms of his beloved (the Prada man is a romantic, after all).
