Inspired by the mysterious Rose Duet, a hybrid rose well known to botanists for its distinctive petals – light on one side and dark on the other – the latest diptych creation was born under the sign of Duo.
With ROSE DUET, diptyque offers a singular olfactory experience: two fragrances in a single candle. A master in the art of waxmaking, the perfumer juxtaposes two waxes with different fragrances, ROSES and BAIES, to create an original and poetic combination of scents.
The heart of ROSE DUET, a hybrid like the rose from which it takes its inspiration, takes us on an atypical olfactory experience, an extravagant bouquet of roses swooning in the evening cool. While the rose still dominates, the spontaneous, leafy green aspects of blackcurrant develop to form an original setting for the unique radiance of this flower.
In the end, the BAIES fragrance takes center stage. Born of a stroll through an English garden, the scent expresses the tender freshness of a rose grove studded with blackcurrant foliage. All the magic of ROSE DUET is expressed in this duo of floral scents that divinely caress the sense of smell.
