Giambattista Valli Couture Spring/Summer 2013

Eternally romantic, that’s how the woman at Giambattista Valli Haute Couture could be described. Prints and shapes make her a muse worthy of the Hollywood stars of the 60s, with a subtle dash of modernity.

Black, white, gold. The basics of her wardrobe are sharp and effective, blending together in patterns that leave no one indifferent: zebra or python prints, revealing her animal nature beneath her obvious sophistication.

The Giambattista Valli woman is versatile, almost capricious. When she’s not a femme fatale in monochrome leopard or mixed fur, she becomes a childlike woman, adorned in pastels, floral appliqués and playing with lengths.

Dramatic, she plays with codes, alternating volumes of tulle and lace or silk with long-sleeved embroidered mini-dresses, and even dares to wear a dress/combination, assuming her independent, fiery side and her more feminine, romantic personality.
