Comme des Garçons is the house behind the original name of Japanese designer Rei Kawakubo.
This season, the designer’s inspiration came from the wonderful world of Alice in Wonderland. Fashioned against a meadow-green backdrop, the models all adopted androgynous looks: long hair was the order of the day, reminiscent of the heroine of Lewis Carroll’s tale.
Pastels and earthy colors blend together in a collection oriented towards the imaginary and the world of childhood.
Tassels can be found on jackets and their edges, as well as on long sweaters.
The most extraordinary pieces are the hats: rabbit or mouse ears, a masculine version of Maison Michel headbands.
