To celebrate the centenary of the Plaza Athénée hotel in his own way, and following the success of the 3 exceptional evenings organized last year – to mark the hotel’s 40th anniversary – Werner Küchler, the famous German director of the Relais Plaza, has decided to repeat the festivities and put the restaurant back on Bavarian time, on February 21, 22 and 23!

The program for these evenings? All the folklore of this beautiful region: in a room decorated in the colors of Bavaria, to the sound of traditional music and in a festive atmosphere, the waitresses will welcome you in Dirndl and the manager of this Parisian brasserie will even don his typical Bavarian costume, the Lederhose, to kick off the evening at 8.30pm sharp by pouring beer from the barrel!

What about the music? The Bavarian folk group Zugspitz was invited for all 3 evenings, to set the hall alight.

What’s on the menu? Bavarian culinary specialties such as Schweinshaxe mit Bierjus, Wirsingund Kartoffelknödel (beer-lacquered pork shank, cabbage and potato dumplings), or Knusprige Bauernente auf Wirsing mit Kartoffelknödel und Bratensaft (free-range duck, cabbage and potato dumplings, gravy). These will be highlighted by Philippe Marc, Chef of the Relais Plaza and close collaborator of Alain Ducasse, who will be inviting Walter Leufen, Chef of the Bavarian restaurant “Bayernstube”, at the Überfahrt Hotel, located on the romantic Tegernsee lake.
The Relais Plaza will give you the opportunity to discover the subtleties of Bavarian cuisine in Paris, and for those of you who already know it, to introduce your friends to this beautiful culinary region in a typical atmosphere.

Menu at 95 euros (drinks not included) – Reservations at 01.53.67.64.00
