Nowadays, designers play with art again and again. Claudine Ivari is one of them. In her latest presentation, for her Spring/Summer 2013 Ready-to-Wear Collection, she draws inspiration from the work of Olga de Amaral. The latter is a Colombian textile artist working with textile panels in juxtaposition, with flat gold and silver leaf. During the 60s, between abstraction and three-dimensionality, she was able to justify her approach and give textile fibers their full artistic legitimacy.
Claudine Ivari has paid tribute to him with her proposal, L’Art et La Matière. She focuses on textiles. Weaving, embroidery, delicate alliances emerge.

Linen, lace and silk lend themselves to the game. The weft reveals itself, with a playful notion as a filigree.
Refined details appear in various places, supporting the architecture of the garment. A corolla dress, an asymmetrical sheath, a pantsuit with a stunning silver lamé jacket,

Each model reinvents the possible. Gold, the purity of white and the abstraction of black, Klein blue, each color is used as a reference to Art. Light, fluid materials invite you to be carefree.

An invitation to experience elegance in a new way, …
