The Palais Royal boutique-bookshop invited artist Dominique Picquier to create a “Palais Royal” collection for the Comédie Française boutique-bookshop. Located in the Comédie Française theater, the shop’s hushed, contemporary ambience, imbued with the red-and-gold elegance of the Comédie Française theater, is a place apart. . For the 2012 festivities, Dominique Picquier was invited to create a fabric inspired by the theater’s heritage and the miniatures from the Fesch and Whirsker collection, the originals of which are kept at the Comédie Française library-museum.
Available in accessories, leather goods and gift items, it’s easy to get caught up in the “Palais Royal” world.
