CONTEST – MEN AND THEIR GIFTS #LHLC
What woman hasn’t sighed when opening her Christmas present? A food processor? A vacuum cleaner?
Let’s face it, men don’t know how to give gifts…!
The studies are clear: 98.4% of men give failed gifts to their spouses (INSEE study, 2012).
This phenomenon has survived the ages with surprising consistency: from Cro-Magnon man to the present day, the male sociology of the gift highlights this curious anomaly of nature.

GALLERY OF HORRORS” COMPETITION FROM NOVEMBER 14 TO NOVEMBER 28
To put an end to years of torment, Gemmyo is launching a big contest on its Facebook fan page(http://www.facebook.com/Gemmyo): the contest for the worst gift ever received at Christmas!
The principle is simple: from November 14, Internet users simply post a photo of their most disastrous gift, and the winner will be the one whose gift receives the most votes… the one whose gift is the most appalling!
To cheer her up on November 28, Gemmyo will be offering her a €400 gift voucher on its site so she can finally find a gift she really likes.
GENERALIZE POLE THROWING
For those who weren’t lucky enough to win – and who panic at the thought of receiving a bathroom scale again this year for Christmas – Gemmyo is making pole-throwing the general rule. It’s a matter of survival for women, and a godsend for men, who won’t have to worry about giving the wrong gift.
How do you do it? Simple: hostage-taking.
WE PROMISE, THIS YEAR WE’LL HELP HER GIVE HER GIFT
