Maxime Chattam and the Livre de Poche / Short Story 2.0 competition
To mark the launch of the 1st volume of L’ Alliance des Trois by Maxime Chattam, master of the French thriller and author of the best-selling L’ Autre Monde series, Livre de Poche is organizing a new competition format: the 1st Short Story 2.0 on Twitter.
A 2-part contest

On the evening of Tuesday November 13, Maxime Chattam launched a 1st tweet before our very eyes, the start of a story that we’ll be inventing with him. We were there.
Then, like an exquisite cadaver, you’re invited every day – until November 23 – to propose tweets to compose the rest of the story. Each day, Le Livre de Poche and Maxime Chattam will select a winning tweet from the tweets submitted, which will become the “official tweet” for the rest of Nouvelle 2.0
The winning tweets will be announced daily on the Livre de Poche Twitter account (@livredepoche) and on the Livre de Poche Facebook page(https://www.facebook.com/livredepoche?fref=ts).
On November 23, the twittosphere will be invited to propose a final tweet, but it won’t be the end of the story… because it will be imagined by fans on Facebook.
Practical information
You have until 4pm each day to submit your tweets accompanied by the hashtag #maximechattam.
Today’s winning tweet will be announced at 5pm on the Livre de Poche Twitter account (@livredepoche).
As soon as the selected tweet is broadcast at 5pm and until 4pm the following day, you can publish your new tweet to continue the story.
The prizes
Each day, the winning tweet will win L’ Alliance des Trois (volume 1 in the Autre-Monde series) and a set of 10 books from the online catalog of livredepoche.com
One grand prize winner will be drawn from among the winners to win a year’s reading (60 titles selected by Maxime Chattam from the online catalog of livredepoche.com)
Part 2 on Facebook
From Monday November 26 to December 10, the end of the story will be available to Facebook fans on a dedicated application on the Livre de Poche fan page. Fans will be able to read the Nouvelle 2.0 composed over the days and suggest their own ending. The application will enable them to get their community to vote. Based on the 10 proposals that receive the most votes, Le Livre de Poche and Maxime Chattam will select the ending that will close the short story 2.0
The winner will receive L’ Alliance des Trois (volume 1 of the Autre-Monde series) and a year’s reading (60 titles selected by Maxime Chattam from the online catalog of livredepoche.com)!
