. Au Casti, as the regulars say, is ideal for livening up a business dinner, enjoying a cup of coffee, reading the paper, seeing green suns, lace and teapots, and a change of atmosphere!
Couet is no copyist, however, and his personality shines through in the layers of a traditional table, which doesn’t mean conservative.
At Casti Café, the cuisine is “Haute Goûture”, with a popu mix mixed with an eclectic spirit – Caesar, Milanese, risotto, fish & chips, red fruit panacotta, club sandwich – with belly-pleasing
guaranteed.

Philippe Gravouille is the newest chef. A native of Saint-Nazaire, Philippe studied at the
hotel school in Saint-Anne. At the age of 17, armed with an accredited diploma, he moved to Paris and began his long
apprenticeship. PG began working with Jacky Joyeux, then head chef at the George V. Forging a
cook. Employed as a commis for four long years and a few months. Finally promoted to
chef de partie. He went on to work at Maxim’s on rue Royale, Pierre Cardin’s legendary restaurant. Three years later
he was promoted to full chef. Faithful, he’s in for another 10 years.
His expertise led him to the Dôme Montparnasse Bastille. In 2012, a new challenge propelled him to the helm
of the flagship Le Castiglione Café. At the head of a brigade of 3 professional teams. On a busy
day, during Fashion Week, the staff is on deck with the pasha, sending out 600 covers of equal
quality, a performance that has made a reputation for itself. On the à la carte menu, quality products are treated with the utmost care.
Philippe Gravouille has added his very first Autumn Collection to the menu.
