Store Mob
Presenting itself as a remedy for the crisis, the store Mob is a concept that comes to us straight from the United States and Canada. Aimed at supporting local commerce, the store Mob is a short-term mobilization (3 hours) in which the store owner is notified in advance and agrees to offer a discount to the group of people who show up.
The atmosphere is relaxed, with cocktails and a friendly atmosphere. The rules? Have fun, meet people and have a drink.
The local economy is stimulated, and it’s a moment of pleasure and sharing. As technology dictates, social networks are also in the spotlight (photos of the event are published on Facebook).
How to get involved
“Like” the Store Mob Facebook page and contribute €20 a year to receive a name card giving access to events for a year.
A successful first experience at the SoWeAre concept store. Founded by Magali and Hélène in September 2011, it’s a little gem in the Bastille district. It offers ready-to-wear with designers chosen by the two friends, as well as accessories and objects/small home decor for all budgets.
