The 2012/2013 WPT National Series unveiled at the ACF
What a pleasure to be back at the Aviation Club de France for the presentation of the PartyGaming group’s live tournaments (Party Poker, Acfpoker.fr and PMU Poker). The hushed setting of the Parisian gaming club is a little cocoon in which to feel at home.
What’s in store for the new season on Room’s famous network? A press conference held on October 17 unveiled the program. Many bloggers are tweeting previews of the new WPT.

For the uninitiated, the World Poker Tour is an institution. After 10 years of experience in the USA and 3 years in Europe, the WPT has pursued its development strategy by setting up local circuits, the WPT Nationals. Following the success of the first edition, the WPT National France continues the adventure this year with a tour of France’s finest casinos. Gruissan (PartyPoker.fr), the Aviation Club de France (PartyPoker.fr), the Casino Le Croisette in Cannes (PartyPoker.fr), and the Casino Imperial in Annecy (PMU.fr) are on the program.
The WPT National will also make a detour to Belgium, stopping off at the Grand Casino in Brussels from February 14 to 18, 2013. A stopover is also planned in Mauritius in March 2013.
Gad Fitoussi, Managing Director of ACFPoker.fr, presented the new features of season 2 of the ACF Poker Tour, with an exceptional event at the Casino Aria in Las Vegas in June 2013. The final tables will be broadcast via live streaming.

This was followed by the press tournament, with its attractive prizes (poker case and Ipad). Staff members were also up for grabs. Bounty money was awarded to those who eliminated them.
I find myself at the same table as Game One’s Julien Tellouck. It’s easy to tell a player’s skill level by the way he handles his chips. The great dexterity of several gentlemen calls for a certain mistrust. I raise a few chips, winning a few moves. Then the table breaks. I find myself caught between two poker magazine editors, my stack melting away. I double up with a pair of kings, but the respite is short-lived. Short stack, I go all-in with As/King and lose to As/6.
That’s Poker!
A great evening at the ACF!
