To celebrate the worldwide launch of Windows 8, Microsoft is showcasing the creativity offered by its new operating system with the CREATIVE GALLERY BY WINDOWS 8 exhibition !
A veritable voyage of initiation into the heart of Windows 8, this exhibition brings together works by some forty artists in fields as varied as music, fashion, design, architecture, street-art, comics, cooking and more. So there’s something for everyone.

This gives rise to an unexpected exhibition, at the crossroads of digital and contemporary art, which will be open from October 27, 2012 to November 11, 2012 at the Palais de Tokyo (13, avenue du Président Wilson – 75016 Paris).

As a reminder, “Windows 8 has been designed to combine personal efficiency and visual pleasure, through an interface in the form of a contemporary collage, which modifies uses under the sign of beauty, design and fluidity. Whatever the screen size, Windows 8 offers thumbnails, in the spirit of a dynamic “color block” palette: a mosaic of photos, applications, favorites, contacts, useful information and bright colors that look just like you.
Free from any medium, free from any form of screen, Windows 8 dares to be simple, enabling everyone to express their creativity, on a tablet, a computer or hybrid products, with a mouse, a brush, a pen or with their fingertips, on a small or large screen, in bed or on the subway, in their office or in their bag… Windows 8 combines to create an infinite gallery of digital works in which we are the artists.”
