Flowers gallery, the first concept dedicated to the combination of floral art and
contemporary art, opened its doors at its vernissage on Thursday, October 11, 2012 by
honoring its new artist Olivier Masmonteil.
Through an initiatory journey, the renowned painter presented on Thursday evening a
part of his collection entitled “Whatever the minute of the day”, nature-oriented canvases brimming with a thousand and one colors. Floral compositions of all sizes adorned Olivier Masmonteil’s works, delicately complementing the life-size landscapes concealed in the store.

Orchestrated by artistic director Pascal Mutel, a florist for 20 years, and
floral design enthusiast Johanne Tordjman, the Flowers gallery now turns
codes on their head, cleverly blending flowers and contemporary art.
On the strength of this new concept, the gallery promises to showcase many more artists in temporary exhibitions.

The exhibition runs from October 11 to November 15, 2012 at Flowers gallery, 7 Place de Mexico – 75016 Paris.
