The House of Hennessy has collaborated with artist Futura to create a limited edition VS Hennessy
Behind Futura, an internationally acclaimed graffiti artist, is a man who has always been ahead of his time. Since his early days as a graffiti artist in New York in the 1970s, Futura has distinguished himself through his use of color and line, the dynamics of his creations and his powerful energy. While other graffiti artists were busy reproducing their names everywhere, Futura was the pioneer of a movement based on individual style. Today, he is one of the world’s most recognized and loved graffiti artists.
For this limited edition, Futura incorporated elements of Hennessy’s history, such as the sword arm emblem, into its own science-fiction-inspired environment, combining them effortlessly in bright pink and electric blue atomic swirls. Although considerably smaller than his usual canvas formats, each of the five elements of the Very Special bottle – the front, back and neck labels; the cap and the stopper – led Futura to consider space in a new way, and to adapt his abstract approach and distinctive motifs accordingly.
Hennessy Very Special by Futura and a special series created for Colette will be officially unveiled at Colette on October 22. This date coincides with Fiac, where Futura’s work will be featured on the stand of his French gallerist, Jerôme de Noirmont. Futura will be present in Paris on October 22 and will be painting the window of the Colette concept store, a happening that will take place at around 6 p.m. in the evening.

notes of vine fruit.
