Designer Jung Kuho studied communications at the Parson School in New York. He created and launched his own brand KUHO in Seoul in 1997 and joined the SAMSUNG group 6 years later. Today, he is Artistic Director for Samsung, Cheil Industry Inc. He presented the Hexa by Kuho collections for four seasons in New York, and has also been Artistic Director and costume designer for numerous films, dance shows and plays (“An affair”, “Tell me something”, “Asako in ruby shoes”, “Scandal”, “Hwangjiny” and many others). He was also voted by ELLE magazine as one of the most promising designers of his generation.
Her Spring Summer 2013 collection mentioned the influence of Charlotte Bronte in her famous novel Jane Eyre. This inspiration, more apparent in the hairstyles and buttons on the dresses than in the overall very modern silhouettes, provided a bridge between absolute modernity and influences from the past.
