Christophe Guillarmé “Muse” Spring/Summer 2013 collection
Designer Christophe Guillarmé presented his new “Muse” collection at the legendary Balajo.
In the presence of several personalities close to Christophe Guillarmé,
The sparkling singer Inna Modja in a tie-dye silk tunic gown trimmed with crystal,
Actresses Salomé Stévenin, glam in a laser-cut striped minidress,
sexy Brazilian Gyselle Soares in an ivory tulle minidress with embroidered bust and feather trim, and ravishing Joséphine Jobert in a silk jersey minidress with embroidered shoulder pads, were able to see exceptional pieces and discover the Maori tattoo version for summer 2013 of the Twizy Renault once again customized by Christophe Guillarmé.
Vocal coach Armande Altaï and host Eléonore Boccara, in an openwork lace minidress, were thrilled by the collection and the combination with Gil Neuhaus’s incredible jewelry pieces.
Buoyed by this support, Christophe proposed a new vision of his “Muse”, which was the focus of his inspiration this season.
Forgoing his seductive muses this season, the designer turned his attention to a tender, ingenuous heroine, with outfits in diaphanous colors and evanescent materials.
The shades are soft, from nude to champagne gold, platinum to glacier white, a range of old rose to powder pink covered in iridescent sequins or rosewood muslin, all revived by a touch of lipstick red on a second-skin silk jersey that upsets this pastel harmony, also contrasted with hints of turquoise blue and the absinthe green so dear to romantic poets.
The atmosphere is reminiscent of David Hamilton’s shots, where candor and innocence are mixed with veiled eroticism. The mermaid-like lines of the draped sheaths create ethereal vestals who seem to vanish at the blink of an eye.
The photographer’s world became Christophe’s to stage exquisite naiads clad only in vaporous gowns and radiant complexions.
A Nymph with a sensual and mysterious allure charmed the audience to the sound of experimental electro mixed by Sébastien Boumati.
