At the Lutetia, Saturday June 30 will be playful and incredibly artistic. Young and old alike can come together to discover S. Andrews and J. Chausson’s amusing book, Le Poisson Rouge de Matisse (Matisse’s Goldfish). Published last April, the ‘little’ book aims to introduce readers to the painter’s world through the intermediary of a goldfish. The latter is none other than one of the actors in the artist’s famous painting, Les poissons rouges (1912). The vertebrate animal evolves from detail to detail. As with every Palette reference, this album is a great introduction to art for beginners. To make the adventure even more captivating, the Lutetia will stage a reading and make it even more creative with an innovative workshop.
On Saturday, young and old alike will be able to dream of an enchanted world.
