The ninth edition of Jardins, Jardin at the Tuileries, a national event dedicated to urban gardening trends and outdoor design, closed its doors on Sunday June 3, having welcomed nearly 20,000 professional and amateur visitors over four days, despite uncertain weather conditions on Sunday. This good result confirms that Jardins, Jardin is asserting its originality and establishing itself as a major Parisian event, and as the leading “garden” event in Paris.

With the theme “microgardens, new landscapes” resolutely focused on innovation, this edition presented a broad vision of the urban gardens and outdoor products of tomorrow: 21 gardens, balconies and terraces by landscape gardeners, 10 “pocket gardens” created by personalities from the world of the arts, over a hundred exhibitors (nursery gardeners, garden accessories, decoration….), the outdoor design village, the Innovation Competition selection with over thirty projects, an exhibition of work by 9 French and foreign schools of architecture, landscape and design, gardening workshops, culinary workshops, a plant clinic, wellness treatments, a literary café, children’s activities…

Jardins, Jardin has become a not-to-be-missed event for garden, design and landscape professionals, and has also given rise to numerous events and meetings: the Prix de la Création Paysagère Trophée Daum, the Prix de la Presse, the Prix du Concours de l’Innovation, the christening of the “Disney Princess” rose to mark the park’s 20th anniversary, the christening of the “Pierre Perret” rose created by rose gardener André Eve, conferences with the “Vendredi des Pro”, round-table discussions with the general public.
