The winners of the “Typographic Games” international graphic design challenge have been crowned! After a day of deliberation in the heart of the capital, the official closing ceremony took place yesterday at Colette at 7pm.

Chaired by Jean François Porchez, the jury of international designers selected the winners from a pre-selection of 50 finalist posters. Since its launch in November 2011, the Typographic Games competition has attracted more than 1,700 entries from over 60 countries. This race of the imagination challenged designers from all over the world to design a sports-themed poster around the phrase “It’s not what you win but how you conquer it*”.
Today, 13 winners have been rewarded: 1 gold medallist wins a weekend in London and 2 tickets to the Olympic Games, 5 silver medallists win NIKEiDs and 7 bronze medallists. All medallists are offered publication of their poster in Creative Review.
