For the Autumn/Winter 2012 – 2013 season, Lacoste called on jewelry designer Marion Vidal to reinterpret the iconic Petit Piqué knit, jewelry version of course.
Trained as an architect and a graduate of the School of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Marion shares Lacoste’s vision of ‘unconventional chic’ femininity, and favors contrasts between strong yet light structures.
She has created a line of supple bracelets in which the mesh of the famous polo shirt is enlarged and flattened to form chevrons, giving body to pieces that are both constructed and airy.
