Saturday May 19 is Museum Night, so here’s a small selection.

Musée Gustave Moreau, Paris
Gustave Moreau’s studios and the exhibition Gustave Moreau – Hélène de Troie. Beauty in Majesty will be open from 7pm to 11pm.
The apartments will be closed.

MAC/VAL, musée d’art contemporain du Val-de-Marne, Vitry-sur Seine
In conjunction with the exhibitions Le Théâtron des nuages by IFP and Vivement demain, Parcours #5 from its collection, the MAC/VAL opens its doors to the unexpected: performances, tours, workshops, concerts… follow one another from 3pm to 11pm to experience the museum differently.
This original and varied program will enable all audiences to enjoy an unusual and privileged encounter with the very best in artistic creation, plus the chance to have their portrait taken by Matthieu Laurette
On the program:
15h: Artist’s book workshop, Malika Doray
15h – 23h: Matthieu Laurette, “Tapis rouge 4 (Photo Call ” Nuit des musées ” MAC/VAL 2012)”
16h: Visits to the IFP exhibition “Le Théâtron des nuages” and Parcours #5 from the “Vivement demain” collection.
5pm: Vincent Thomasset, “Bron Bron Bron”, performance.
7pm: Dominique Pasqualini & [MMM], “Le Geste et la Parole”.
7pm: Gestural tour of “Vivement demain”.
8pm: Jean-Michel Espitallier, “I don’t know Britney Spears”.
9pm: Jean-Francois Brun and choreography by Groupe L’artha.
10pm: Big Daddy’s Dead, concert.
Return shuttle to Paris around 11 p.m.

Musée des impressionnismes Giverny
>Free admission to the galleries from 5:30pm to 10pm. (last admission 9.30pm)
>Introduction workshops for adults: Introduction to watercolor: After drawing on the model of the works presented in the exhibition, you will discover the technical basics of watercolor (mixing colors, washes, etc.) and create an outdoor landscape. From 2 to 4 pm. Price: €12.50.
>Visit-workshop for young visitors: The visit-workshop enables children to deepen their understanding of works of art through hands-on experience. Using two or three works from the exhibition, children reinterpret a given theme, expressing their own sensibility in colorful ways. From 5pm to 7pm. Free admission.
>Guided tours of the exhibition Maurice Denis, L’Eternel Printemps At 5.30pm and 7pm. Duration: approx. 1 hour. Free admission.

Musée Bonnard, Le Cannet
The Musée Bonnard’s first participation in the 8th European Museum Night. 8pm to midnight. Free admission.
The Musée Bonnard offers an unusual cultural evening to coincide with the opening of the exhibition Bonnard, entre amis. Matisse, Monet, Vuillard… On this occasion, a small voice will be heard on May 19, 2012 from 8pm…The museum team invites you to share an original vision of the exhibition.
