Who hasn’t heard of this unusual green banana liqueur from Indonesia, in existence since 1948?
Pisang means “little banana” in Indonesian and Ambon, a small volcanic island near Bali. The Parisian party crowd gathered to discover the brand’s new muse at a summery party in the Parc André Citroën greenhouse.

Green banana liqueur is back in the spotlight with a NEW HUMOR PARTNERSHIP! After Éric & Ramzy, it’s Max Boublil’s turn to create the event this summer! With a crazy bottle that you’ll find near you from June onwards.

An offbeat interview with Max Boublil:

Why did you choose to be the face of Pisang Ambon?
MB-Because they suggested it to me and it’s a crazy, offbeat brand, which I am.

What does this brand mean to you?
MB-Elle represents summer, idleness, sunny beaches… And the banana represents a bit of a party!
It’s a fun brand, colorful and sweet like me. Yes, because I’m a sweet boy…everyone who’s ever tasted me thinks I have a sweet taste…a taste of sweet with cheese, a salty sweet!

How does Pisang Ambon’s world compare with yours?
MB- Because I’m green and smiling…so I think I’m pretty much in line with Pisang Ambon’s universe.
It’s a young, fun, slightly offbeat universe that resembles what I am.

If I say DTC, what do you think?
MB- To Dans Ton Cocktail of course, and certainly not to anything else, because I’m a prude, I don’t like vulgarity…

What’s your favourite cocktail?
MB-My favorite cocktail? It’s the Pisang Jambon! Two slices of ham, two slices of mimolette and lots of Pisang. But especially Pisang Limonade.

How do you eat bananas?
MB-Bananas…um, I can see where you’re coming from…
I’m a bit careful about my figure. It’s true that before I went on stage, I used to eat cakes and for some time now I’ve been asking for fruit to be put in my dressing room and I eat quite a lot of bananas.
