L’Intercontinental Paris Le Grand celebrates its 150th anniversary with elegance, efficiency and art.

Since December 2011, the prestigious establishment has been offering the public a quality event every month. Each one is inspired by art. December was the month of Sapins de Noel Fashion, while January saw a painting exhibition by painter and pastry chef Pascal Niau. In February, the hotel’s large glass roof housed period costumes from the Théâtre de Chaillot, much to the delight of dance enthusiasts. March saw an immersion in the world of literature. On March 13, Clothilde Courau read, or more accurately gave body
to the intimate letters of G. Sand, A. De St Exupéry and E. Piaf. Taken from Anne-Marie Springer’s ‘Une collection dévoilée’, these fragments of existence offered a glimpse of particular impulses. Lionel Suarez’s understated accordion accompaniment gave the performance a different character.

On March 21, Pierre Palmade will take part in the game, highlighting some of his own texts. Lovers of history and performance will appreciate the moment. The reading begins at 7 p.m. Reservations should be made by e-mail to [email protected]
.
