Over the past few weeks, a little black dress with calligraphy has invaded Paris. Thanks to Guerlain and its new fragrance.
We had the pleasure of discovering her world in the legendary Guerlain boutique on the Champs Elysées.
The little black dress is the classic of every woman’s wardrobe, symbolizing the passage from adolescence to adulthood. From now on, it will be the must-have fragrance for the Parisienne.
As if to thumb its nose at fashion brands that launch soulless fragrances, Guerlain wanted to pay homage to fashion and called on the talented alchemist-nose Thierry Wasser to concoct an extraordinary juice.
La petite robe noire is a tribute to the house’s classics, using its signature ingredients: a vertigo of tonka bean, vanilla, iris and dazzling patchouli. Its pared-down style sublimates a few exceptional raw materials: black cherry, patchouli and rose, audaciously overdosed with the same details as a couture dress.
The juice:
First glimpse of the black cherry, between fantasy and magic, illustrated by a clever combination of exquisite almond, tasty red fruit and fresh, sparkling bergamot. A second wink: rose enters the scene, a precious combination of fresh, sparkling Bulgarian rose essence and soft, deliciously candied Turkish rose absolute.
Finally, the dark temptations of licorice and smoky black tea are revealed. The evocation of dark root, powerful and racy, draws you into a slightly dry, aniseed seduction.
And the elegant lapsang leaves are smoked to enrich them with almost leathery accents.
