C’N’C is a young, urban brand with a real digital culture.
In 2008, the brand presented an advertising campaign dedicated to the Myspace generation, with casting via social networks. C’N’C has also embodied its modernity with muses such as Lizzy Jagger, Jethro Cave, Abraham Belaga and Pixie Geldof.
For this Spring Summer 2012 season, the brand continues to explore the web generation through a universe where images are used, adopted, distorted, destructured, reblogged, accumulated, reinterpreted…
An overexploitation of images with the Tumblr platform as the keystone.
Tumblr is a “microblogging” platform that allows members to post texts, images, links, quotes or audio sequences that other members can “reblog”.
Tumblr is the compulsive reign of the image, one of the platforms where major visual trends emerge: analog photography, animated gifs, color classifications, food photography, the cult of bad taste…to name but a few. In this world of absolute freedom, a new type of corrupted image is emerging, heralding the beginnings of an aesthetic of digital chaos. –
This new C’N’C campaign is inspired by this fascinating visual experience through its press campaign, Tumblr and videos. This season’s face is the young actress Jeanne Damas, the new lolita adored by photographers and fashion magazines, whose fame was born in the heart of the blogosphere.
“The blog is an absolute space for dialogue and interaction. It’s an open door to many projects, trends and ideas. C’N’C CoSTUME NATIONAL is always on the lookout for creative people, stylists, photographers and young designers. The blogosphere is an ideal place to meet these talents and share your intuitions and dreams with them.”
