Visual distortion at Juun.J

For Juun.J, autumn-winter 12/13 will be lunar equestrian. This season, the label collaborated with Swiss artist duo alexandfelix, whose photographic works of 13 queens refer to Juun.J’s disproportionate silhouette and project onto the catwalk, under the theme “Distended”.

A warm operatic a cappella voice over a hammered industrial beat worthy of a Berlin rave. This duality of sound during the show sets the tone for the clothes: the Juun.J man embraces his inconsistencies and balances his futuristic style by combining opposite extremes. Sweaters and jackets with leather and plush inserts, oversized shoulders and slim legs reminiscent of riding pants, batwing sleeves. Shades of gray, fawn and black make up for the diversity of shapes and textures.
Winter 2012-13? It remains to be seen, but Juun.J is ready to face it with strength and dignity!
