For the opening of the new beauty space at Printemps-Haussmann, architecture agency 7 LIEUES has designed 3 concepts around the brands The Different Company, La Prairie and Clarins.
Now known as La Belle Parfumerie, the Printemps-Haussmann beauty center is home to the architectural designs of 7 LIEUES, an agency that has created spaces where the senses are brought to the fore, where the customer becomes an actor in her choices and is no longer simply a passive consumer.
“Restore the pleasure of seeing, touching and smelling” is the motto of the space created for the Haute Parfumerie House The Different Company. A counter like a perfume bar encourages the discovery of fragrances and their composition, and to preserve the scents, samples are sprayed into ceramic cups. The brand’s products are showcased in niches, but it’s the perfume fountain system in particular that will delight the senses.
For La Prairie, it was the principle of absorption of the brand’s products by the different layers of the skin that guided the project. Thus, in the image of the epidermis, dermis and hypodermis, products are presented in several rows. The curved shapes of the counters were designed to reflect the gentle gestures of a woman applying cream to her skin. La Prairie unveils its products in a comfortable, protective environment.
For Clarins, mobility and modularity were the driving forces behind the project. The boutique comprises two distinct spaces: a sales area visible from the store window on rue Caumartin, and a Clarins Skin Spa. Equipped with a soundproof cabin, a shower and a Glass Cube waiting room, Clarins reveals its desire for innovation in a space of almost 70m². The décor has been designed to change every 2 months, in line with the brand’s latest news, while a dozen consultation stations welcome you for personalized advice and express treatments.
