For the past 9 years, Couture Houses, artists and jewelers have joined forces with UNICEF to create dolls to be auctioned off to vaccinate children in Darfur. This year, the theme of nature will dominate the entire event. The dolls are on display at the Petit Palais, Musée des Beaux-Arts de la Ville de Paris, from November 29 to December 4, 2011, before being auctioned at Drouot on December 13 and on the firstluxe.com website.
To echo the event, we’ve set up a number of web actions for the general public and artists alike! Video artists and illustrators are invited to illustrate the Frimousses atmosphere and draw their own, while the general public can win one of last year’s dolls on Facebook !
