I spent my Sunday with Tchoupi #confessionsdunpere

Let’s face it, the years go by. Social cocktails and launch parties are no longer my only horizon when it comes to going out. So it was with my wife and son that I went to the Casino de Paris to see Tchoupi. A first for me and especially for my 2-year-old son. Once we arrived, we took our seats. Equipped with a booster seat, my son settled in.
The show begins and my son is hooked! He discovers a character he’d only seen in books before. The adult equivalent of an encounter with an extraterrestrial. For the first 15 minutes, he’s speechless. The subject of the show: Tchoupi and his friends are organizing his mom’s birthday party. With flowers to set up, balloons to blow up and cake to prepare, it’s a whole adventure that unfolds to music. My offspring asks me to fetch her a balloon from the stage, but I tell her it’s not possible. During the show, my son has obviously spotted a laser toy in one of the kids’ hands, which half the kids have made their parents buy. At intermission, I had to do the same. At the end of the show, he’s still all shook up. Dozens of parents rush to the stage to let their child touch Tchoupi like a saint.
