Smalto launches its first Smalto Championship
Smalto, the luxury haute couture and ready-to-wear house with a strong attachment to golf, is launching an international sporting event, The Smalto Championship. The idea is to organize a golf competition in perfect harmony with the house’s values: elegance, tradition and respect.
The Smalto Championship is a 5-day amateur tournament on 5 prestigious golf courses. It will take place from December 6 to 10, 2011 in Marrakech, a destination the company is particularly fond of, since Morocco was one of the first countries to recognize Smalto’s expertise. Smalto, founded by Francesco Smalto in 1962, is the only French haute couture brand for men. For the past year, it has also been developing women’s and children’s collections. The company aims to perpetuate exceptional craftsmanship and the tailoring tradition through its collections.
