Haute Horlogerie brand A. Lange & Söhne has chosen to dedicate a unique model from its Zeitwerk collection to Singaporean children suffering from a chronic or terminal illness. The Langer Zeitwerk, in white gold with a grey dial, will be auctioned on August 27 in aid of the charity “The kidz Horizon Appeal” on the occasion of their costume ball.
This Lange Zeitwerk model is the only one with a grey dial (disc of grey and white numerals). It is also distinguished by a special engraving on the case back that testifies to its uniqueness: “1/1 PSC 2011”.
A. Lange & Söhne rarely takes requests for limited editions and almost never agrees to engrave an inscription indicating that it is a one-off, so this piece is certainly Unique, all the more so as it was created on the initiative of the family of the late Duncan Wang, a well-known collector and philanthropist.
