H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco has asked Jean Michel Jarre to design and perform a spectacular concert-event for the entire principality, and for the eyes and ears of the entire world, to mark his wedding to Mademoiselle Charlène Wittstock on July 1.
The concert will take place in the heart of Port Hercule on the night of July 1, in the presence of the Prince and Princess.
At the heart of an incredible 200m-long stage set-up, Jean Michel Jarre has conceived a total concert-spectacle in which he integrates a scenography of lights, HD videos, lasers and pyrotechnics – a high-tech, visual enchantment punctuated by his music performed live from the central stage.
The concert will start at 22:00 CET and will last two hours. It will be filmed with 18 HD cameras, and broadcast live on EURONEWS worldwide and USTREAM.TV on the Internet.
