Vaux-le-Vicomte at the time of the Musketeers presents De Cape et de Crocs “L’IMPROMPTU”.
For the 1st time, the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte is hosting a “Time of the Musketeers” evening.
The show takes place in the château’s main courtyard, to the sound of muskets, the rhythm of cavalcades and the clash of swords:
“De Capes et de Crocs – l’Impromptu”: an open-air show for the whole family.
Humor, romance and adventure are the order of the day, in an exceptional setting at the foot of the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte. This heroic panorama, adapted from the best-selling comic strip by Ayroles and Masbou, is presented by the troupe Les Milles Chandelles. The 26 actors, horses, sheep, cannons and stunts transport spectators to the era of Molière, Velasquez and Cyrano de Bergerac.
The journey to the time of the Musketeers continues with cloak-and-dagger entertainment in the château’s Cour des Bornes, with the “Lames sur Seine” company. An opportunity for young and old to discover the agility and precision of soldiers in the 17th century.
