La Grande Epicerie de Paris is exhibiting 25 very large-format works by young Swedish photographer Carl Kleiner. This almost self-taught artist’s work is a polished blend of the graphic and the offbeat. Funny, surprising and absurd all at once, this series of fruit and vegetable sculptures is a meticulous, sensitive work in which color and material are sublimated to give life to these fragile, ephemeral characters.
