The fashion world is in an uproar, and the rumor has finally been confirmed: after Stella McCartney in 2009, it’s the turn of Diane Von Furstenberg, queen of the wrap dress, to collaborate with ready-to-wear brand Gap! Dedicated to the Gap Kids and Baby Gap ranges, this first capsule collection by the famous American designer is scheduled for spring-summer 2012.
“After a number of successful collaborations, we are extremely excited to have the opportunity to build and develop this collection with Diane, who is a true icon of American fashion and an inspiration to women everywhere,” says Art Peck, President of the Gap brand for North America.
The collection will be available from March 2012 in selected Gap Kids and Baby Gap stores in over 30 countries, as well as on the brand’s online site.
We’re sure it will be just like Diane Von Furstenberg’s latest resort collection: full of joie de vivre, color and prints. And all at an affordable price.
