Yesterday’s beauty coaching by Louise Wittlich

Today, my reflection is grimacing in the mirror, the gloomy Parisian sky perfectly brings out my dark circles on my endive complexion, I’m in make-up crisis, even my best friend Terracotta won’t/can’t help me…

If, like me, you sometimes lose the use of a lip brush, if on a bad day you don’t know what to do to blush, if sometimes the mere sight of an eyelash curler makes you feel like a helpless cro-magnon in front of a butter knife, if you just don’t know what to do with your make-up bag, no doubt you need Louise.

German-born make-up artist Louise Wittlich has been a professional for over 15 years. She has worked for the international press (Vogue, Glamour, Marie-Claire, Citizen K, etc.), on advertising campaigns (Benetton, Cartier, L’Oréal, etc.), backstage at fashion shows (Fendi, Yves Saint-Laurent, Martin Margiela, etc.) and on film shoots.

In the course of her career, she has come to realize that many women find themselves at a loss when faced with the profusion of make-up products regularly available on the market, and that they don’t necessarily have sufficient technical knowledge to be able to highlight their assets themselves.

Eager to share her professional secrets and help women reveal their own beauty, she launched Beauty Coaching just over a year ago.

I was lucky enough to meet this dynamic blonde with a charming accent in a hushed salon at the Hôtel de Sers, fantasizing about her kits filled to the brim with powders, blushes and lipsticks of all kinds, as she explained her business and her determination to remain independent, not tied to any brand, so as not to be pressured by marketing.

Very attentive and observant, she perfectly targets my desires and shows me how to make my mouth look like a star in just a few brushstrokes, using a glamorous red she made herself, “more pigmented”, she says.

If you call on her services, Louise will come directly to your home, to get a clear idea of your personality and your environment, so as to better meet your needs.

For 1h30, she will listen to your needs and work with you to draw up a complete beauty diagnosis, then create your personalized “beauty prescription”, to determine which type of treatment is best suited to your skin, which colors suit you best…
Then it’s time for practice: she’ll show you by example, before letting you practice on your own, so that you’ll be able to do your own make-up afterwards.
A few days later, you’ll receive a little notebook she’s made herself (she’s a former Beaux Arts graduate!), in which all the valuable advice she’s given will be listed and illustrated, so you’ll never forget it.

ma nouvelle bouche !
