The Canvas Expression: Converse as a work of art

Last Wednesday, Converse organized the opening of an exhibition in which three artists staged the famous shoes. This new experience took place at BETC’s Passage du désir, a perfectly suited raw space. The All Star, the flagship model, was at the heart of the creative process, becoming a medium for artistic expression.
The first visual shock was a 4 x 5-metre interactive wall made up of 500 shoes created by Chuck Taylor. Olivia Fremineau’s surreal installations, and those of Diederick Kraaijeveld and Mentalgassi, were also highly successful. On the music front, The Dodoz rock showcase, followed by mixes by LeAm and Dju.
