Ah lala…the exquisite sensation of chocolate melting gently on the tongue… If, like me, the very mention of the word “chocolate” is enough to make you salivate (and fantasize, it must be said), and if you’re curious to discover new and exclusive flavors, come to the Maison du Chocolat.

The famous brand, renowned for the quality of its products, perfumes France’s favorite sweet with summer flavors. This summer, it invites us to return to our roots, as the new collection is inspired by the fragrances of the Basque Country, the homeland of Maison du Chocolat founder Robert Linxe.

Available in stores since May 11, the “Chiberta” boxed set includes five original creations featuring almonds, Eztia (a milk ganache flavored with flower honey), and surprising aromas such as espelette pepper, red bell pepper and the famous Patxaran liqueur, with its aniseed notes.

The heat of long summer days is also the perfect excuse to indulge in ice creams and sorbets. The pastry chefs at La Maison du Chocolat have come up with five variations on cocoa and chocolate that will delight the taste buds of purists, taking them on a crescendo of deliciously gourmet flavors, from the sweetest to the most full-bodied. You’re sure to melt!

Mothers won’t be outdone: the “Violetta” box has been specially created for them for Mother’s Day. It contains 16 small chocolates with tangy notes: lemon/violet, passion fruit, pistachio and Ghana cocoa.
