Lexus Europe is pleased to announce that His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco has granted the
brand a royal warrant as a patented supplier to H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince of Monaco.
Confirming his commitment to more environmentally-friendly solutions, His Serene Highness has
chosen to use a Lexus hybrid for his wedding to Miss Charlene Wittstock on Saturday, July 2, 2011.
His Serene Highness takes a keen interest in encouraging innovative solutions for the protection
of the environment and sustainable development worldwide, through the Prince Albert II Foundation of
Monaco, created in 2006. The Foundation supports over 150 environmental monitoring and protection projects for
species threatened with extinction by climate change. It also provides assistance in
water management in developing regions.
More recently, H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince defined the Principality’s strategic orientations in terms of sustainable mobility
and asked his government to design a plan resolutely in favor of mobility solutions with low
ecological impact. The plan will be rolled out over the next decade.
