With its new Imperiale line, Chopard has succeeded in capturing the quintessence of style and elegance in a watch.
This reinterpretation of the house’s famous 90’s model, inspired by a refined, dynamic and natural woman, a strong personality who appreciates the discreet luxury of beautiful objects, is now available in two new versions, 28mm or Bicolore.
Beneath its apparent sobriety, the Imperiale hides details that are as precious as they are rare.
Many of them, such as its typical band covers, have been entirely redesigned. This timepiece with its sculptural profile revives the imperial era in all its splendor. The delicately chased mother-of-pearl dial background evokes
the embroidered cushions on which monarchs used to place their regalia. Around it, graceful Roman numerals, resolutely “imperial” symbols, mark the hours. As for the finely curved hands, they recall
the tapered daggers used by sovereigns in battle. The lotus flower-shaped crown is mounted on a case middle with sleek sides to give the watch a lighter, more luminous appearance. The ultimate touch of refinement, the
horns, resembling antique columns, are enhanced by small cabochons of amethyst for the rose gold version, or blue sapphires for the white gold models, cut into briolettes to better match the curvature of the case.
A subtle blend of simplicity and majesty, sophistication and sensuality, Imperiale is chic and timeless. Versatile, it is renewed to seduce the most demanding women and accompany them on every occasion.
