Louis Golay International, creator of pearl jewelry and in particular of the Miss Japan 2011 crown, with over a century of experience in the country, today presented its Japanese ambassador – Marie Yanaka – with the original design for the crown, the first item in an auction to be held in autumn to benefit Japanese disaster victims.
With the support of Quorum Communication, publisher of L’Année Horlogère Suisse, and Antiquorum, a leading watch auction company, a collection of timepieces and jewelry is being launched to mark the visit of Miss Japan to Baselworld. An emotional Marie Yanaka, dressed in a sumptuous kimono, thanked watchmakers and jewelers for their generosity.
