Rynshu’s Autumn/Winter 2011-2012 collection, with its “neo-retro” theme, was inspired by the 1950s.
Drawing inspiration from Japanese culture and tradition, such as that of the kimono. Rynshu presented a unisex, neo-retro and minimalist collection, whose linings feature motifs depicting pretty women in sexy poses and charming smiles.
The absence of a seam in the middle of the back of the jackets in the neo-retro style, allows the designer to introduce the “pin-up” motifs in the center of the lining without distorting them. Paying close attention to the less visible parts of the garments is the moto of this collection.
Rynshu has worked the black palette in viscose and silk twill, but also in 100% silk on which frayed fabrics have been sewn to form stylish rock n’ roll crosses, or cotton highlighted by large Armadillo motifs sewn on the reverse.
Garments express themselves by layering: top, sarouel, cigarette pants, poncho, leather jacket. Play with lengths.
The result is a very rock ‘n’ roll neo-retro ensemble.
